Modular homes have a surprising number of awesome features
Posted on August 13th, 2009 No commentsIn my town there is a plant that makes modular homes. I’ve been trying to get in for an open house for years, but always seem to miss the notice about it in our local paper. My husband even worked there for a few years and I’ve never seen their particular models of homes. Of course I have seen others at various farm shows, fairs, and trade shows, but never the one in my hometown. Crazy.
I am shocked by the ones I have seen. They’re actually quite beautiful. There’s sometimes a stigma against them, as if they’d be built poorly or have low quality items inside. Actually, they have pretty ingenious modular home floor plans and some really cool features, better things than I have in my own home.
Their kitchens are truly remarkable, the master bath suite area is phenomenal, and with so many different layouts to pick it’s really hard to get the wrong one.
It’s kind of cool to have your house built inside. Just think of those little nooks and crannies that are never exposed to the elements. The modular home builders are skilled at what they do and the materials used are top quality.
When you order one you need to have a lot purchased for where you intend to place it. You’ll need to pour the foundation (or put in a basement) and then they’ll come out and setup the rest of the house for you. You write one big check (or the bank does) and move in. Simple. Who ever thought you could buy a house like you were shopping in a catalog? Oh ya, sears had been doing it for years. I guess this is a spin off of that.

World Cup Soccer 2010
Posted on August 13th, 2009 No commentsAs all Soccer Fans knows by now, the World Cup Soccer 2010 will be hosted in South Africa and the country is up in arms getting everything ready for the big event. New Stadiums are being built, roads are being upgraded, and even the Gauteng Train ( a new subway train system) sees the light. Millions are being spent to have everything just right.
Accommodation South Africa is the buzz word on local Guest House owners and Bed and Breakfasts and everybody that has got an extra bed available is thinking about renting it out. Lots of visitors means lots of accommodation required and it means lots of money.
But how should you the visitor decide where to stay and how to get the best deal in Accommodation. Running an Online Accommodation Booking System, I know just how confusing it can be for a foreign visitor to get the right accommodation. My first suggestion to you will be to start early. Don’t delay when you book your accommodation when you are visiting South Africa for the World Cup.
The second tip that I can give you is not to take just any accommodation. Make sure you get enough information about the Accommodation you are about to rent. Most online booking systems have a way of telling you a lot about the Guest House, Hotel or Bed and Breakfast unit. The last thing that I would like to bring to your attention is to make use of the South African Tourism Grading Council ratings. In South Africa all accommodation are graded by them from one to 5 stars. Anything from a grade 3 upwards will give you very nice accommodation units. Of course if you convert your pound dollars or euro’s to rands, it is a cheap holiday. Enjoy it..
If you wanrt to experience the most beautiful part of South Africa, one place to visit is the Garden Route in the Western Cape. You can get useful information on Accommodation Plettenberg Bay from our Online Booking System. Plettenberg Bay is regarded as the best holiday town in South Africa.
